The mystery of the Fleur-de-Lis

The history of the mysterious Royal Fleur-de-Lis started its main appearance around 1558 at the start of the Elizabethan era, and was largely embraced by nobility and royalty both in England and throughout Europe.

The Fleur-de-Lis was frequently displayed on suits of armour, flags, plus numerous coats of arms of nobility including many armed forces.

Even to this day it can be seen on the fences and gates of the Palace of Versailles France and Buckingham Palace, plus it can be clearly seen on the Royal Diamond Encrusted Coronation Crown housed in the Tower of London .
