Interestingly enough there are many examples of the Fleur-de-Lis embedded into the very structure of the vaulted ceilings and architecture of the Royal Westminster Abbey in Central London. The abbey was built in the year 960 and consecrated in the year 1065.

Also present are numerous examples of the Fleur-de-Lis displayed on most of the royal tombs and memorials of Kings and Queens of England throughout the ages that reside within the abbey.
